Cover reveal for Obtained by, Shanora Williams
Jules Maddox isn’t just some familiar guy that sits at the corner table of the coffee shop and sketches in his sketchbook. No. He’s something much darker and mysterious than that and when Alexandria Marshall—a happy-go-lucky girl that can’t remember a thing about her past—speaks to him, she isn’t surprised to see Mr. Hot/Creep run off quickly without saying a word. That leaves Alexandria with no choice but to wonder what she’s done to make him react that way towards her. She feels as if she knows him but she can’t put her finger on it. And without being able to remember her past, she feels that she will probably never figure it out.
After being assaulted and attacked in an alley of New York, Alexandria figures out that Jules isn’t normal and has a reason to be secretive and mysterious. As Jules fights off her attacker, she witnesses his glowing eyes and fists. And it’s not until Jules is finished that he realizes what he has just done and once again, he runs away without a word.
Alexandria can’t keep Jules off of her mind but when Felix Wells, a rich architect, appears at her door step, everything begins to unravel and reveal itself. She falls for Felix on the first day and when Jules finds out, he isn’t pleased and instead of running off like he usually would, he decides to tell her everything that he knows and what they really are. What Alexandria doesn’t know is that she and Jules are mates and if the “Leaders” find out that she is being drawn in by more than one mate, their lives will be at stake. Jules didn’t want to risk telling her But no matter how much Alexandria tries to forget about Felix and stick with Jules, Felix just comes back effortlessly to obtain her again. Because now she knows everything-- her mates know everything-- and if the Leaders find out, they will be sure that the lives of Alexandria and Jules cease to exist.

For Mage McPherson being afraid of herself is just the norm. Thanks to that fear, being a loner in a small town never bothered the mysterious Mage. Once she received her secret abilities, she figured being alone was the safest way to be. At nineteen, she met her own personal prince charming and writing took a back burner for a while. She is now married to that prince and the mother of a beautiful Six year old princess/rock star. She is pursuing a Bachelors in English and hopes to one day teach while continuing to write.

REVIEW:

When I first started reading this book the first line jumped out at me. It was as if the words were spoken to me in my ear as a form of poetry. I don't know where to begin--i haven't wanted to read anymore vampire book because I have read a lot and I haven't gotten one to stick in my mind. This one grabbed hold of me and didn't let me go till I was done with it at four in the morning! It still had me wanting more when I finish, even though I had the second book I had to think about it, lack of sleep or read at least a couple chapters. Can you guess what I did--if you guess the latter you are right! This book is fabulous it had me so engaged I felt like I was in her world.
And I absolutely loved their names, Braden, Torin, Cian, and my favorite Teagan! I loved them. I have an odd fascination with unique names. I also loved the whole soul mate twist, its called fate-partner I believe. A lot of people might find this cheesy but i do believe in love at first bite--i mean sight and I believe we all have a soul mate!
Oh and did I mention this story has werewolves too! I always fall for the unread, but werewolves can also be quite steamy LOL;)
I give this book five***** stars fabulous story telling. And I just love a story that makes me feel poetic! And I love the cover is very dark and inviting!

She loved reading from as long as she can remember. C.S. Lewis’ - Chronicles of Narnia - sparked a fire in her soul which made her want to create her own wondrous, magical worlds, and awesome characters to go on adventures with.
Writing is her passion, and right now, her head is stuck in the YA genre. She loves to write about ghosts, angels, fantasy, and even zombies… actually, anything paranormal.
She self-published her debut novel, In My Dreams, about a year ago, and her newest novel, Hidden Wings, has recently been accepted by Crushing Hearts and Black Butterfly Publishing.
One day she hopes to find her own magic wardrobe, and ride away on her magical unicorn... Until then... she’ll keep writing!
