Synposis for Obtained by, Shanora Williams

Jules Maddox isn’t just some familiar guy that sits at the corner table of the coffee shop and sketches in his sketchbook. No. He’s something much darker and mysterious than that and when Alexandria Marshall—a happy-go-lucky girl that can’t remember a thing about her past—speaks to him, she isn’t surprised to see Mr. Hot/Creep run off quickly without saying a word. That leaves Alexandria with no choice but to wonder what she’s done to make him react that way towards her. Is it something from her past? She feels as if she knows him but she can’t put her finger on it. And without being able to remember her past, she feels that she will probably never figure it out.
But after being assaulted and attacked in an alley of New York, Alexandria figures out that Jules isn’t normal and has a reason to be secretive and mysterious. As Jules fights off her attacker, she witnesses his glowing eyes and fists. It’s not until Jules is finished that he realizes what he has just done and once again, he runs away without a word.
Alexandria can’t keep Jules off of her mind but when Felix Wells, a rich architect, appears at her door step, everything begins to unravel and reveal itself. She falls for Felix on the first day and when Jules finds out, he isn’t pleased and instead of running off like he usually would, he decides to tell her everything that he knows and what they really are. What Alexandria doesn’t know is that she and Jules are mates and if the “Leaders” find out that she is being drawn in by more than one mate, their lives will be at stake. Jules didn’t want to risk telling her but he refuses to lose her to Felix who is much more dangerous than an architect.
But no matter how much Alexandria tries to forget about Felix and stick with Jules, Felix just comes back effortlessly to obtain her again. Because now she knows everything-- her mates know everything-- and if the Leaders find out, they will be sure that the lives of Alexandria and Jules cease to exist.

Shanora Williams new book that's coming soon! I'm so excited all her books I have read so far are fantastic, I can't wait to read more of her books:)

Author interview with Katherine Rochholz

What do you do when you get writers block?

1) Writers block is soooo horrible, so I step away, normally I will read a book, or watch a movie, something to take my mind off my story.  After a day or so I will go back and read what I have, if I am still blocked I might start another story, that is how The Seven Deadlies started I wanted to write a short story to keep my mind off Katy Lily 2 and the short story became a novelette and then a novella then a novel.  And it did what it was supposed to, I got over my block and finished Katy Lily 2 on time.
If you could meet any other author who would it be and why?

2) I would really want to go back in time and meet Edgar Allan Poe, the darkness in his work inspires mine so much.
Where do you get all your amazing book ideas from?

3) I find that inspiration is everywhere.  Katy Lily started out as a verbal story when my baby brother was born in 1993, My family had been through a lot of loss ( my parents lost 3 babies in 3 years) and I wanted to spin a tale of magic that was dark but had the underlying lightness needed to make it a wonderful story for a child or adult alike.  The Seven Deadlies was a dream.  But I find if I see a piece of art or listen to a song or hear a phase that is where a lot of inspiration comes from for my stories.

Are any of the characters in your books related to anyone in real life?

4) Riley is based on who I saw my baby brother becoming, with a bit of fiction.  My adult characters are based upon my parents, not in looks but in personality.  They are my real life hero and heroine why not let the world get to know a small part of them.

Do you listen to muSic when you write? If so what kins?

5) Yes music is a must, and it depends on what I am writing.  Katy Lily I played a lot of P!NK, The Seven Deadlies a lot of loud music like Slipknot or Anthrax.  For Demonic Savior my current work I am listening to a lot of modern music that the 16 year olds are listening to because I have to figure out my main character's sister.  She is a popular girl, blonde, perfect, cheerleader.  I was never that type of girl so getting into that mentality to write her is a challange.

Do you have a favorite quote? If so what is it?

6) I have many.  All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream ~Edgar Allan Poe is a big one.  It is the underlying reason Katy Lily 2 has the title it does A Nightmare Within A Dream

What is you favorite genre to read?

7) I tend to read a lot of thrillers.  I write Paranormal and fantasy, but I am not the biggest on reading it.  Don't get me wrong I love vampires but I would rather read about the myths and legends surronding them.  However that being said there is so many great fiction books out there that are paranormal and starting to drag me in, and there isn't much of a struggle.

What is your favorite book, if you have one?

8) I can't pick one favorite.  But my comfort read (when I am sick or depressed) is Hunter's Moon by Karen Robards.  I am also a sucker for Anne Rice she is the reason I love Vampires.  Robin Cook's Toxin is also a favorite of mine, as is Jane Austen's Emma and of course anything by Edgar Allan Poe.  Also I donate lots of copies of Where The Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls to local schools because I believe it is a book all middle schoolers should read, it is the reason I love to read, even though I still cry like a big baby at the end no matter how many times I read it.

You own your own publishing company how does it feel to have accomplished so much?

9) The Reason E.A.R. exist is because I discovered that there was so much to learn to get your work out there.  I had many offers from publishers who I wrote to trying to get tradionally published but they wanted me to change my work to an extant I would not do.  So I self published then I found others who were having so much troubles getting their work out there so I just started by helping anybody who asked. Then someone said open it up to others, you can be an Indie Publisher as well.  So I took some time, reviewed some laws and poof a publishing company was born.  I am so happy that I have one author signed and others that will come in the future. And E.A.R.'s first anthology will be out at the beginning of the year.  UnHappily Ever After, which we are taking submissions for until the end of the year.  But to be honest I mostly feel scared.  I am not a person who likes to fail, and this publishing company is named after 3 important woman, so my own desire to make sure this is a huge success is a lot of pressure.

When did you know you wanted to write?

10) I have always made up stories, all of them verbal, never wrote them down.  I tried when I was younger but got some extreamly negative feedback and didn't write down another story.  My dad passed away in 2009 and we were sitting over at my cousin's a year later, all of us still in shock when my baby brother reminded me of Katy Lily.  His exact words were something like "Look you can get Katy Lily published... that sparkely vampire lady got published and your story is a million times better."  I told him he was biased and brushed it off. In April of 2011 he brought up again, and I figrued it couldn't hurt to try.  I needed something to do, within 3 months the first draft was done.  I did a quick edit and in Sept 2011 published it as is.  It didn't sell a single copy so I took it down.  I didn't put it back up until April of 2012 I got paperback copies did a revamp and new edit, and got into using social media to promote.  I haven't looked back.  My dream is to help others relieze their dream of being a published author, so thus the birth of E.A.R.

Is there a genra you don't like to read?

11) I will give any book a try.  That being said Erotica, not because I am a prude or anything, far from it, and there are a few exceptions to that, but in the end it just isn't my type of read. I am not saying I won't give it a try, if someone recommands it, and there are exceptions, there are some great ones out there that I love, but I don't own many.

When coming up with nanes for characters in your books how do you decide?

12) For my main characters it is based upon names I like.  My towns and shops and other things are named after family.  In fact the last name MacCathmhaoil is an older form of Campbell which was my maternal grandmother's maiden name. And the candy shop Kandi's Sweets in Katy Lily is a play on my mom's name Kandi Kitchen (Yes I am serious my mom's name is Kandi Kitchen)

Was there something imparticular that inspired you to write your first book?

13) My brother.  After losing 3 brothers at their births, I was in a dark time, though I would go through darker, but for an 9 year old, I was depressed.  Then he was born, so I wanted to create a world for him, and him alone. But he wouldn't let that be so finally he kicked into high gear and Katy Lily was presented to the world.  (after lots of revamping and research)

I always ask this: team Edward or team Jacob? Team Adrian or Demitri?

14) team Edward or team Jacob? Neither, I am team Jasper. Out of all of Meyer's Vampires I love Jasper. team Demitri or Adrian? Adrian
What is your favorite book ti movie?

15) I don't like a lot of books to movies so I just have to force myself to say that they are different creatures.  That being said Where The Red Fern Grows was a good adaptiation of the book.

Fire round:
favorite food? Chocolate and Coffee LOL It just seems like I live on that, but I would say I am a sucker for a good grilled Iowa Pork Chop.
favorite place? Sitting on the couch writing and listening to my music.
favorite series? The Katy Lily Series HAHAHA... no seriously I grew up with The Baby-Sitter's Club and Goosebumps and they have a special place in my heart.
favorite mythical creature? Dragons, I have a weakness for them I can't explain.
favorite book cover of all times? ANything that is eye catching, I don't like a lot of covers with people on them, I don't know why but they never catch my eye, which is sad because so many great books have people on the covers and it takes a friend to tell me about the book for me to go pick it up.

Ember by, Bettie Sharpe

SYNPOSIS:

Everyone loves Prince Charming. They have to--he's cursed. Every man must repect him. Every women must desire him. One look, and all is lost.

Ember would rather carve out a piece of her own soul then be enslaved by passions not her own. She turns to the dark arts to save her heart and becomes the one women in the kingdom able to resist the Prince's charm.

Poor girl. If Ember had spent less time studying magic and more time studying human nature, she might have guessed that man who gets everything and everyone he wants will come to want the one woman he cannot have.

REVIEW:

I was mesmerized by this book. Its a novelle about a girl name Ember (Cinderella) and its nothing like the fairytale you have heard before. Ember is actually the bad witch, she doesn't do it to be evil, it was what she was taught to fight the Princes curse. This book was wrote beautifully, it was told by Ember, and I have to say I love how she would interrupt the story and act as if she knew what we were thinking. Bettie Sharpe told a whole different story of Cinderella. I loved it!

I give this book five*****stars. I just wished it was longer:) it was a novella. But I felt it told to story very good in the amount of time given!

CHARACTERS:
*Ember-The main character or Cinderella. She was a witch who in this story was playing the evil role, even though it wasn't anything like evil. I loved her strong headed character who took no bs from anyone. She doesn't want to fall for Prince Charming curse, she trys everything to avoid it.

*Prince Charming-Also know as Adrian. He was handed a gift as a baby no man or women could ever hate him. To him it ended up a curse, no man can deal with so much false love. I dont really know if it was realization or he just couldn't have something he wanted.

The Vincent Boys by, Abbi Glines

SYNPOSIS:

There was something wicked about Beau that drew me to him. What was wrong with me? Why did I want to sin so badly?

Ashton is getting tired of being good, of impressing her parents and playing ideal girlfriend to Sawyer Vincent. Sawyer is perfect, a regular Prince Charming, but when he leaves town for the summer, it's his cousin Beau that catches Ashton's eye. Beau is the sexiest guy she has ever seen, and even though he is dangerous, Ashton is drawn to him.

Beau loves his cousin like a brother, so the last thing he wants to do is make a move on Sawyer's girl. Ashton is off-limits, absolutely. That's why he does his best to keep his distance, even though he's been in love with her forever. When Ashton wants to rekindle their childhood friendship in Sawyers absence, Beau knows he should say no.

Ashton and Beau don't want to hurt Sawyer. But the more they try to stay away from each other, the more intense their urges become. Its getting way to hard to resist.....

REVIEW:

I have been putting this book on the back burner for so long. Its not that I didn't want to  read it, I just buy to many books at the same time. Well anyways, I picked it up two days ago and I finished it in the same day! A story doesn't have to have big words in them or a lot of correct grammer ( not that this story had bad gramner, just stating a point) it has to tell me a story with the words, it has to make me feel as if I am watching these characters lives first hand. And it made me feel as if I was in the story. When I read Breathe I thought this was a chaste story that was so sweet, it was a good story, but if you have read any of my other reviews I love me some hot bad boys. The Vincent Boys was so opposite. I feel for Beau and his soul that needed saving. This is a book I would read again. So go get it if you haven't read it, I'm so excited for book Two.

I give this book five*****stars a book that told a love story which was as beautiful as a sunset.

CHARACTERS:

Ashton: She is both Sawyer and Beau's best friend growing up. She ended up being Sawyer's girlfriend, but Beau was always in love with her. She comes off as she wants to protect one or the other, but she came off to me as greedy. If you didn't want to hurt your boyfriend don't cheat on him.

Sawyer: Clean cut, perfect Sawyer. No one  is ever perfect, this is why I think their relationship didn't work out. Beauty is not perfection, if they were all honest with each other then it would of all worked out better. All in all he seemed like an all american boy, who deserves happiness.

Beau: HOT!  He is the misunderstood bad boy, that was deprived of love growing up. Of course the bad boy yearns for the good girl, because he feels she is to good for him. And she would have to the the preacher-man's daughter. Let me just say I would be his good girl ;D I loved Beau!

Sweetest Taboo by, Eva Márquez

SYNPOSIS:

Isabel Cruz was fifteen years old when she met Tom Stevens. She was fifteen when they started dating, and 16 when she lost her virginity to him. By the time she turned 18 and went to college, everything had fallen apart.

This hadn't been an ordinary love, though. Not a love between two dear friends, or even high school sweethearts. This had been the most taboo sort of love there was: a relationship between a student and her teacher. Isabel started her high school career as a normal student, but set her sights on Tom Stevens as soon as she met him, and pursued with an intense-and sometimes reckless-fascination. When he finally approached her after swim practice and told her he shared her feelings, it was the start of a forbidden and dangerous relationship.

Join Isabel as she makes her way through this dark love story, hiding from teachers, lying to her parents, and defying the authorities to make a life with a man she loves. Watch as she discovers the wonders of love and romance, and the terrible betrayal of jealous friends. And cry with her when she learns the hard truth about life and the people in her world.

Sweetest Taboo by the true and tragic stories of students who fall in love with their teachers, and live with the hard truths of forbidden romances. In a world full of after school specials on sexual predators, this touching book seeks a different path, casting both student and teacher in a gental light, and showing true love may lie at the base of even the most illicit romances.

REVIEW:

This book fascinated me as well as made my stomach turn. I feel this book pushed a lot of limits, not bad-but extremely controversial. I have to give it to the author though, she was able to take a very hushed topic and make you feel raw emotions. Her writing was beautiful, which made it hard for me to put it down. I still feel the main character, Isabel was blinded by lust, forbidden was the right word, something off limits she had to have. Its like telling a toddler not to touch the laptop, or something not for them- of course they are going to want to touch it. This is a real subject that does happen in real life, some people are going to dislike it and some may love it. This is an adult book, but teens do go through this, so maybe this is a new adult book. Either way its a topic that needs to be discussed more, kodos to the author for taking a totally different direction.

I give this book four****stars. I debated on a three star rating because the content left me baffled. To clear it up this man discussed me, bit in the end the authors great writing and story telling won me over.

CHARACTERS:

*Isabel-The main female character, who in my view was not in love, blinded yes, lusted after a teacher and married man. I don't know if I can blame her, at her age she knows wrong from right, but her mind is still impressionable. She was a baby still, and I believe Tom took advantage.

*Tom- For lack of better words was a pedophile. Love? Are you freakin kidding me. What happened to the love you had for your WIFE. The way this character made me feel was--skin crawling! Nothing about this man was ok, to even act on feeling for a student. Blah I have to stop or I will rant.

Illuminate -Alive, She Cried by, Jamie Haden

Length: 326
Author: Jamie Haden
Publisher: Great Minds Think Aloud Publishing.
SYNPOSIS: Seventeen-year-old Talisa Santiago is the granddaughter of a shaman and going between two worldly dimensions is something she realizes she is destined to do; however, what she doesn't really count on is what fate has in store for her. After surviving the first hurricane of the season on the island where she lives, Talisa learns her life is in grave danger. She must retreat immediately to live with a secretive clan of Indians on a remote reservation deep within the Great Smokey Mountains. Her blood brothers, three shifters who have the desires of both man and animal surround her, promising everlasting friendship and protection. However, the majestic mountains hold many secrets and danger lurks in the night. And Talisa falls prey to the evil tricksters that want her dead, she unleashes an untamed passion that may get them all killed.

REVIEW:

When I opened this book I was a little confused, everything was kind of fast paced. It wasn't bad, I was just confused for the first couple of chapters
But it cleared up after that. The storyline is something I haven't read before, and it was refreshing. This book had myths and legends, paranormal, romance and suspense, plus a wicked love triangle. Which by the way pissed me off, the only thing in the book that did. I found myself wanting to beat the two main female characters with a stick. So all in all this story was engaging and exciting, I can't wait till the second book is out.

I give this book four****stars. It just was kind of confussing in the beginning.

CHARACTERS:
* Talisa- The main character, is a confussed seventeen-year-old who can't chose a boyfriend. She irritated me, but also made me sympathize with her. This is my love/hate relationship in this book. Its like she would put her clothes on backwards everyday, and then ask how did this happen. Yea--OK, there are things that are happening in her life she couldn't help. Like being a kickass Indian chick with cool powers.

*Jag-He is a male chauvinist, I mean he didn't walk around saying I'm a badass or anything. His arrogance seeped out of his skin like is was testosterone. Maybe it was a little of both. Needless to say I wouldn't of loved this douche. Oh and he is Talisa's boyfriend. Blah jerk.

*Dakota- He is the one I chose, even though him and Talisa should have come up with a better way. I fell in love with him and his overly caring heart. There were times when reading I swooned, loudly! Dakota is a hottie<3

*Miguel- All I have to say about his character is: He is a down to earth, badass musician, who loves reggae! Enough said! And the dreads aren't hurting no one :) Even though he wasn't spotlighted a lot, his character hit home for me, he felt the realest of them all. And he deserved way better then Laurens scandalous ass.

*Lauren-She is a two-faced bit**, well you get it. Through out the book she is so nice, a little too nice if you ask me. And that right there is the problem, no one ever is that damn nice, I smelled her stink from a mile away. When I was referring to beating someone with a stick, it was Lauren more then Talisa.

There are quite a few other characters in this disfuctional family, but I have stated the main five.

QUOTES:

"Well go on girl, and get Lauren. It's suvh a beautiful day," Miguel said. He looked at Jag, and then back at me, "The sun is shining, the weather is sweet,I don't know about you, but it makes me want to move my dancin' feet," he sang. His Jamaican accent was perfect in pitch, and the three of us laughed like old times, but only for a second.

"Where in the world do I go from here?"
He took my hand. " You awake," he said.
I turned to GG for comfort. Immediately, she stood and embraced me.
"Alive," she cried. "Awake my child, awake from your slumber."

" I'm a writer perceiving my reality my own way. You are your own writer to your own masterpiece and perceive reality your way. When we look out, I see my story and you see yours. No two stories are the same."

Their promise by, Brina Courtney

SYNPOSIS: One moment can change your life.
One moment to find love.
One moment to lose it.

REVIEW: Alright this book was not horrible. But it also wasn't great.  I hate reading things that make me sad. I didn't know how to review this book and I still am having trouble. This book made me feel real emotions, so real at times it was hard for me to breathe. The author know how to connect your emotions to her writing. Which is super impressive. How do I go on with out spoilers. Ok let me explain this book a little. The main characters are in love already when the book begins. And then something tragic happens, and we're all depressed. Pretty much I had to work through my depression after reading this. The authors writing style was straight forward, and engaging. I would have liked if the book was longer, I think this story actually need more. Well--it wasn't terrible, just not for me. I'm sure there are a lot of people who would love this book. And I recommend it if you like books like The Notebook. Memorable definitely!

CHARACTERS:
*Hannah-Her character was the main one, everything revolved around her. She was Chases girl friend. They loved each other extremely. A love that burns through your soul, which a lot of people don't ever find.

*Chase-The other main Character. Their promise, is kind of a proposal of sorts. But chase says he always loved her and he promises he always will.

*Kate- Was a friend when Hannah need one badly. She help Hannah through hard times, and understood her needs.

I give this three***stars. Not that this book was vile or anything, it just needed more. I loved her writing and it was straight forward. I look forward to more book by this author because i know she will write one hell of a romance!

QUOTES:

Kate sighed. " Then you shouldn't go yet, because the first time you go, you ought to be alone. It should be a private moment for the two of you."

I'd give more but I don't want to spoil anything.

Ride of Your Life by, Shevi Arnold.

SYNPOSIS: Seventeen-year-old Tracy Miller met the love of her life....thirty years after her own death. Tracy was working at the house of horrors at the Amazing Land Theme Park when the fire broke out. Instead of running, she lost her life trying to save eight-year-old Mack. Now thirty years have passed, and suddenly everything changes with the arrival of two new ghost: a little girl names Ashley and a cute seventeen-year-old boy named Josh. Josh would do anything for Tracy, but can he help her let go of the past and accept his love. Ride of Your Life is a bittersweet, romantic, YA ghost story that was inspired by a true event: The Great Adventure Haunted Castle fire. Which killed eight teenagers in 1984.
REVIEW: OH MY GOODNESS!!! This book was fantabulous! When I opened this book my first thought was, "My gosh, there is incredible detail in the first couple pages!" There was a map of the theme park, it broke down where the rides were and what part of the park it was located. I loved that the beginning of each chapter the words looked like a roller coaster. This book mad me feel emotion before I even read its first word.

CHARACTERS: * Tracy- She died thirty years ago saving her now B.F.F Mack from a fire in the house of horrors. I felt bad for Tracy through most of the book she has taken care of everyone but herself. She seemed self loathing. But she didn't annoy me or make me want to yell. It had the total opposite effect on me, I want to care for her help her realize she was loved.

* Mack-he to me was a pesky little brother. He acted as he did because he had a hard life. He never had someone to love him fully, until Tracy tryed to save him. Even though they died Tracy had saved him in a way. He now had someone to love and call family. *Josh- The boy who is sent to save Tracy from Tracy. He is what every girl could want. Loving and dedicated. Soft and hard. I don't know how to put my finger on it. He is a man in a boys body. I loved every character, they all had a back story and mushed together to create their family.
I give this book five*****stars unbelievable detail. And a beautiful love story.
QUOTES: " I'm scared." She said. " I know, but trust me. This is going to be great." They found two empty seats in the middle. The safety bars came down and locked them in place. The floor dropped away from under them. Their legs dangled down. He reached out and took her hand. "Get ready." He said. "Ready for what?"she asked. "The ride of your life." He replied. Tracy shifted into the side of Josh's body. He loved her so much. He loved her since the time before they met, when she was still just his dream. He loved her when she was happy, and when she was sad. He loved her when she liked being with him, and when she told him to go away.

The streets are a dangerous place; Watch over your shoulder while you walk or you may just find out what I'm talking about. Horrors lurk in the shadows, evil prickles the back of your neck, you know someone is watching you, waiting until you have long forgotten that gut feeling....waiting to catch you off guard. Friends can't help you, although they might try. I watch them fall around me and I wonder how we got here. How did we enter this hell? Nowhere is safe in the neighborhood. Clay and his gang, the locals, can't walk the streets alone these days. Fighting for everything and nothing at all, the locals struggle on the streets trying to build a safe life around each other. Haker and his followers, another neighborhood gang, have set a vendetta against them, trying to tear down their protection; but the locals aren't backing down- they're going down swinging. Clays life will never be the same when a chain of events turns deadly and leaves all the locals changed forever.

REVIEW: This story hit home with me. Even though I haven't been in a gang, I was raised around it. So looking outside my window was like walking into another world. So needless to say I have had my fair share or experience. This book was great it touched on a lot of bases where anyone can relate and feel for these characters. Wanting to get out of the violence but standing your ground because your home is your pride. I had doubts about reading this because I don't like reading sad things, but it touched me so much I couldn't put it down. It had me rootibg for the characters. The author did a great job weaving a story that rang so true in my heart. I can't wait ro read more by her!

I gave it four****stars because its great but not my usual genre! But a touching story. I like happy endings, even though its not reality.

Quotes! I had them until my nook deleted all of them. So i have to look through the book again, sorry Ill update.

Now if they can only figure out how to take down four gods in the middle of this entire mess, and still save the world from destruction-Oh, and don't forget choosing a mortal creature to become.

REVIEW: WOW! How do I write this beginning! This story was fantastic I loved every minute of it, there was action no stop. I was so excited to read this book, I didn't stop to think that i was going to like it as much as I truly did! It flowed off the pages and created a world in my mind like no other I have seen. There were so many colorful characters, the authors imagination was epic in this book. This is how you know I liked it, I refuse to use the word epic. But I can't find any other words to describe my aw for this book. It was as if you stepped into the book, and you knew these characters on a first name bases. I love when a book takes you out of your body and puts in a character. I can't say how much I loved this book.

Five*****stars because I teuly found this book fantastic!

Quotes! Still to come!

Body&Soul by, Jamie Loeak

Publication: august 25, 2012 Length: 216 SYNPOSIS: Kate has moved around her entire life, and has know few friends. Suddenly she finds herself living in a small beach town where she meets Rico and Adriana, new and beautiful friends. When Rico and Adriana have to help Kate figure out who is after her, and why, Kate falls into a world she never knew exsisted. REVIEW: This book was great, I hadn't expected to like it as much as I did! Reason being I have an issue with covers. But the work inside the cover was great. This book had romance, suspense, and paranormal aspects, it had a little bit of everything :) Let me start off with the love story. I was so mad at first I had no idea why our main characters didn't get along. I never figured that one out, but maybe its as they say when a girl likes you she's mean to you. But I'm glad things worked out. Their were times I wanted to cry out in frustration because I couldn't wait to see what happened next! This book left me wondering what was going to happen everytime I turned a page. CHARACTERS: Rico was hot, his name speaks for its self. Kind of a a loat soul who needs to be saved. Kate was annoying, she lied a lot and it confused me why Rico even liked her. Maybe it was because she had too much riding on her shoulders. I don't know. Her parents left her alone a lot. Very sad. My favorite character was Adriana, I love how she felt Kate was hiding something. Which were lies. Very strong female character, with a caring heart. Which made her stand out in to me. Those are the three main character in which were talked about most. All in all great book four****stars. Reason I can't rap my head around being mean to someone nice. Quotes: " What?" Kate asked. " Do I have something on my face?" "No," the girl said. " You're kind of beautiful did you know that." "If you are to feel anything for me, I want you to know its for my past, present, and future. I want you to know you feel everything that I am. I want you to fall in love with all of me." " Body and soul," Kate whispered.

Will she be able to make it through this, or will she fall apart? There are so many things to get done, and not much time left to do it.

Review: This book was a good story, there was nothing wrong with it. I don't like reading books with multiple stories in them. I know Is this a reason to dislike a book? The answers no. Thats never a good enough reason. So this story is about a girl training her power, and training with a hottie. Love is my favorite part in any story, so with that being said. Any story with a stong story line wins me over. Even when they guys a donkey! Lol keep it clean. It had adventure in it and paranormal aspects, so if you love all these things then its a book for you! I also liked the whole book idea in general, a witch turning into a vampyre, doesn't happen often. So points for that.

I give this four **** stars I found this book engaging and fun!
